3DConvert ("we", "the site") is a free, browser-based 3D file converter at 3dconvert.org. It converts GLB, GLTF, OBJ, STL and 3MF files entirely on your own device. This policy explains what data we do and do not collect when you use the site.

All conversion runs locally in your web browser using JavaScript and WebGL. Your 3D files are never uploaded to our servers or to any third party. We have no ability to see, store, or access the files you convert, and no copy is retained. Once you close or reload the tab, the file is gone from the page's memory.

We do not require an account, email address, or personal information to use the site. Like most websites, we use third-party analytics to understand how the site is used:

• Google Analytics collects usage data such as pages visited, time on page, browser and device type, and approximate country-level location.
• Microsoft Clarity collects interaction data such as clicks, scrolling, and session replays to help us improve usability. Your converted files are never part of this data.

This aggregated data is used only to improve the site. It is not sold and is not used by us to identify you personally.

The site itself does not require cookies for file conversion. The analytics services above may set their own cookies to distinguish visits. You can block or delete these cookies in your browser settings; the converter will continue to work.

Analytics data is governed by each provider's own policy:

The site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

We may update this policy from time to time. The last updated date at the top of this page identifies the current version.
